Miss Becky

Director

Miss Becky has been employed at JNCC for over twenty years in various teaching roles and currently holds the position of director. She earned her degree in Child Development and Early Childhood Education from The University of Cincinnati. She loves working with children and believes that children should be valued as individuals. “My goal is to form a strong partnership with you to ensure the best possible experience for your child by providing a nurturing and loving environment that strives to meet the needs of all children in our care”.

Family is important to her and she loves spending time with her children, geocaching, gardening and relaxing outdoors.

Miss Carissa

Lion and Tiger Teacher

Miss Carissa was one of the Bear teachers since 2011 before becoming the Lion teacher in 2020. Before working at JNCC, she spent six years as a toddler to kindergarten teacher at a daycare center. Miss Carissa brings years of experience, education, and dedication to the children and families she cares for.

When she is not working, you can find her hanging out by a bonfire, reading, or working on a craft project. She enjoys cheering on the Buckeyes and attending baseball games. Miss Carissa enjoys reading Bible stories, books, and singing songs with the children. “I love watching the children learn and explore lots of new and exciting things!”

Miss Julianne

Bear Teacher

Miss Julianne (Jules) is a toddler teacher who has been with us since May 2018. She is a graduate of Ohio Christian University with a degree in early childhood education. When not at work she loves spending time with her pets and listening to music. She says “I love working at Just North”. It has given me the chance to learn and watch your child experience new things in the world.”

Miss Sherry

Bear Teacher

Miss Sherry is our Tiger teacher. She is a graduate of Columbus State Community College with a degree in Early Childhood Development and Education. Miss Sherry brings years of experience and education to our center. She loves teaching preschoolers and watching them explore, learn and have fun in a safe environment.

When Miss Sherry is not working you can find her swimming, gardening, reading, cooking, or hanging out with her cats, Bob and Melvin.

Miss Amal

Miss Amal was born in Cairo, Egypt and came to the US in 2012 to give her two daughters a better future. She graduated from Eim Shams University with a Bachelor’s in accounting. Miss Amal loves going to church, reading the Bible, cooking and spending time with her daughters and granddaughter

Having worked in a childcare previously, she truly understand the importance of TRUSTING a provider to care for your child. “As parents, we love our children so deeply, and we need the peace of mind that we have found a place like home for our children. I look forward to supporting and helping to build a better future for all the children in the day care”.
